Treatments are based on a holistic approach and are customised to meet each person’s unique health and life circumstances. They can be combined with massage, cupping therapy or reiki to offer a complete bespoke complimentary therapy.

Traditional Chinese Acupunture
Acupuncture is use to restore the balance of health, via the energy or Qi channels of the body. This ancient Chinese medical therapy involves the insertion of very fine pre-sterilised needles at particular points along the body to clear energy blockages and encourage the normal flow of qi through the individual. Treatments aim to stimulate the body's own healing process to restore its natural balance and treats not only the physical disease but psychological and emotional aspects of the individual as a whole.

Acupuncture can help many ailments, including stress, anxiety, insomnia, migraine, depression, back pain, sciatica, respiratory and digestive issues, musculo-skeletal, neurological disorders and gynecological issues.

Cupping Therapy
A partial vacuum is created in glass or bamboo cups which are placed on the skin either by means of heat or suction. Cupping has been found to affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear blockages, and ease muscle tension. Cupping is a great form of deep tissue massage and most patients find it extremely relaxing.

Moxabustion
Moxabustion or Moxa as it is commonly called is extracted from the mugwort plant and treats disease by applying gentle heat to acupuncture points. It is excellent for releasing and dispersing stagnation in particular areas.

Electro Acupuncture
Gentle electrical stimulation is carried through needles in order to promote muscle strength and alleviate pain in the area. Electro acupuncture can enhance acupuncture therapy effectiveness for a broad range of clinical conditions.

Reiki
Reiki is a non-invasive therapy that involves stimulating the body's own healing potential on an energetic level, much like acupuncture, but without the use of needles. Subtle energy work is performed by placing the hands in a series of positions from the top of the head to the feet, in order to restore balance in your body. This simple, non-invasive healing system works on a energetic level to promote health and well being of the entire physical, emotional and spiritual body creating beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
